How to use

This guide explains the main workflows on DeckSearcher. If you are new to the site, start with Meta, then try the card filter, then open Duel when you need four unique decks.
1. Browse popular decks (Meta)
Open the Meta tab. Use the sub-tabs under the title to switch between popular decks and ranking views.
- Popular tabs group decks by trophy range (for example 10,000+ or 13,000+). Higher ranges usually reflect later-ladder play.
- Ranking tabs show decks associated with top players in a global or country snapshot.
- Each deck panel lists eight cards and average elixir. Tap a card in the list when filter mode interactions are enabled to include or exclude it quickly.
- Use Load more at the bottom when you want additional decks beyond the first page.
2. Filter by cards you care about
Tap the filter button in the top-right corner of Meta. Choose whether you are building an include list or an exclude list, then select cards.
- Include keeps decks that contain the selected cards—useful when you want every list to feature a win condition you own.
- Exclude hides decks that contain cards you do not want to play.
- Clear all selections when you want to return to the unfiltered meta overview.
3. Copy or open a deck
From a deck panel you can copy a DeckSearcher share link or open a Clash Royale deep link (where supported by your device and the game client). Share links let another player open the same eight-card combination in a browser.
4. Draft decks for Duel
Switch to the Duel tab to prepare four decks. Duel mode is a drafting helper: cards cannot be reused across the four decks.
- Tap an empty slot to pick a card from the full card list.
- Long-press (or use clear actions) to remove a card from a slot.
- Use fill actions to complete empty slots with cards drawn from popular deck patterns, while respecting the no-overlap rule.
- Paste a deck string or Clash Royale deck link into a deck when you already know a combination you want to lock in.
- Open a finished deck in Clash Royale when you are ready to import it in-game.
5. Understand data freshness
When a snapshot timestamp is available, DeckSearcher shows an updated time above the deck list. Treat rankings as a recent public sample of the meta—not a live feed of every ongoing battle.
Tips for better research
- Compare the same archetype across multiple trophy ranges before deciding it is “dead” or “broken.”
- Filter for cards you already upgraded; a strong meta deck is only useful if you can reasonably play it.
- After importing a deck, practice matchups in-game. Snapshot popularity does not replace personal execution.
